Are you searching for a hidden gem near An Bang Beach during your Hoi An Restaurant food trip in Vietnam?
An Bang Beach in Hoi An is one of the best beach destinations, with soft white sand and clear blue waves.
As you stroll along the sunlit shore, your stomach will likely start to rumble. And what most travelers crave at that moment is an authentic local Vietnamese restaurant that truly delivers the taste of Vietnam.
During this trip, I visited a hidden gem called “Beach Village Restaurant”, tucked away in one of the alleys near An Bang Beach.

Hoi An Restaurant Beach Village Restaurant Found in a Quiet Alley
As you walk through the narrow alley near the beach — a path not even clearly marked on maps — you’ll come across this quiet little local restaurant.
The atmosphere is peaceful, and it feels like a true hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

A Restaurant Full of Vietnamese Aesthetic
The interior was full of character and charm, reflecting the local Vietnamese design.
It had a cozy and unique vibe that made the meal feel even more special.

Amusingly Translated Korean Menu Names
One of the funniest parts of the experience was the Korean menu.
They had translated the dishes directly into Korean, and the translations were… quite something. It made for a good laugh!

Enjoying Authentic Vietnamese Food by the Beach
I ordered some local dishes along with a mango smoothie — and as expected, the smoothie did not disappoint! 😋
The food came out quickly, and the mango smoothie felt like it was made from freshly blended real mangoes. Truly refreshing and satisfying.

What I Didn’t Like – Pushy Ordering Felt Uncomfortable
However, there was one downside.
I usually don’t eat a lot, but while deciding on my order, the staff kept coming back and pushing for more items.
I smiled and responded politely because I didn’t want to ruin the trip, but honestly, it started to feel a bit uncomfortable.
I understand that they might be doing it for their livelihood, but from a traveler’s perspective, it was a bit of an unpleasant experience.
Still, considering the quality of the food and the unique atmosphere, it was overall a satisfying meal.

Just a heads-up — if you’re sensitive to upselling or being pressured to order more, it may feel uncomfortable at times.
But if you can look past that, this place is definitely worth visiting while you’re in Hoi An.
